STOMPer Juju said a hit-and-run driver ran over her dog and killed it instantly, at about 9.15am today (April 2), at a carpark in Pasir Ris Park.
She said:
"My dog has just gotten into an accident on 2nd Apr, Thursday, at about 9.15am.
"10 years he has been with us, now an irresponsible man who drove fast at Pasir Ris Park Carpark C, hit and ran over it, killing it instantly!
"My parents witnessed the incident but were too shocked to notice the plate number.
"It was a silver car, not sure what model.
"He was picking up speed at the carpark, and I believe he should have noticed a dog nearby.
"He didnt even slow down, when my dog dashed across.
"He should have noticed something if he hit something but he didn't even bother to take a look and drove off quickly.
"I want to post it online and on all avaliable newspapers if possible, plead for witness and find the killer!"
OS from ADS owners: Poor dog, We would probably be the same reactions... losing a beloved one reali is a painful thing... but in this case, it's may be both party's fault.. the driver should stop and take the dog to the vet immediately.. the owner should leash the dog to prevent such accident...
